Road Trip Extraordinaire...

Shawn and I left Idaho on June 26th at 10 o'clock p.m. with our U-Haul loaded up, pulling the car, and me following behind in the truck. According to MapQuest, our travels would take us roughly 12.5 hours...however, MapQuest IS FULL OF IT! After 5 movies on the DVD player, 4 stops to fill up the cars and let the dogs out, about 3 hours of stop-and-go driving as I pulled over with carsickness, (a grand total of 19.5 hours of driving) we arrived at our new home in Casa Grande, Arizona. The weather...116 degrees! We had about a day and a half to unload the truck and with the help of our amazing new friend, Joan Spivey, we did it! The house was all put together and Shawn was ready to start work Monday morning!
